Still Standing Program

The Still Standing program was first launched in 2017.

Over the past 2 years the program has achieved great results including:

  • Average leg strength improved 42%

  • Average balance improved 46%

  • Average mobility improved 21%

  • Average functionality improved 20%

  • Number of patients classified as low risk of falling improved from 15% to 62%.

  • Data from the past 2 years suggest a reduction in falls by 50% by doing this program.

The Still Standing Program is a free program which consists of:

  1. Pre-program assessment with Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and home exercise program designed by AEP and exercise bands.

  2. 2 group education sessions with Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Clinical Pharmacist or AEP.

  3. 12-week supervised group exercise program with AEP with tea and coffee provided after each class.

  4. Post program assessment with AEP.

Resumption of exercise classes

We are pleased to announce that we are able to resume exercise classes within government guidelines. To help meet government guidelines about starting exercise classes within this COVID situation we have developed a COVID safe plan and have put together participation terms and conditions to make sue the classes are as safe as possible. The entry terms and conditions can be found here.


We are offering light exercise classes in the following locations:

Castle Hill

Days: Mondays with classes starting 24th of August, 2020.

Time:   Class 1: 9am – 10am

            Class 2: 10am – 11am

            Class 3: 11am – 12pm

Location: Wrights Road Community Centre – Room 2, Castle Hill NSW 2154

Initial assessments: will be completed on Monday the 17th of August, 2020.

Cost: $114.50 for 12 week program with initial and final assessments. Cost is less than $10 per class.

Mount Druitt

Days: Fridays

Time: 11.30am to 1.00pm

Location: Mount Druitt Hub – Ayres Grove, Mount Druitt (above the library, near Westfield)

Cost: $10 per class (accepting cash and card payments)
