Still Standing Program information for providers

The Still Standing program can help your patients and community members maintain their independence and reduce their chance of being admitted to hospital.

Latest update - July 2025

The Still Standing program is excited to announce that the program will be funded again for the financial year 25/26. This means that there will be limited free positions in the program. We are currently also working on new locations, so please express interest in these areas in the form below.

We are currently working on contacting everyone who has expressed interest in the past few months, so please be patient as we work through the list.

Can I refer someone into the program?

Anyone can refer someone into the program. There is no need for a GP referral.

What details are needed?

To help us provide the best possible service to participants, we would like as much information as possible, such as a health summary or an update on what has been happening recently.

How can you refer someone into the program?

You can refer a patient by filling out details in the contact form, email (admin@newedgeperformance.com.au, or fax (02 8076 7417).

What is the eligibility details for the (free) Still Standing Program (funding dependent)?

- Aged 65+ or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged 50+ - Reside in Western Sydney (Blacktown, Parramatta, Castle Hill, and Cumberland LGAs) - Medically stable and at risk of falling or having experienced a fall. Not in aged residential care. - Not due to travel lasting more than one week within 4 months of starting. - Not due to have any major elective medical procedure within 4 months of starting. - Not completed the Still Standing Program in the past 2 years, unless recurrent falling and new referral from your GP, specialist or allied health professional. - Must be able to fulfil the program to the best of your ability. By joining the free program, you are taking a government-funded place. If you do not finish the program by choice, you are taking away a spot for someone else.
